The mechanical core aeration process involves the removal of finger size plugs about 2 inches in depth. These "plugs" return to the lawn after the first rain, watering or mowing, but greatly improve the nutrient water and air exchange |
to your root system.
This stimulates new growth, improves water absorbtion and increases the positive effects of fertilizer applications. It also greatly helps to reduce harmful thatch buildup.
| GenEx recommends that our customers have a core aeration service performed at least once per year. The best time to do core aeration is between April and August, when the grass is at its peak growing stage. |  |
