Flea & Tick Control
Although many types of insects are responsible for the spread of various diseases, fleas and ticks pose a particularly serious concern for the health and wellbeing of your family.
Last year alone there were over 20,000 human cases of Lyme Disease reported to the United States Center for Disease Control (C.D.C). Of course, ticks also transmit Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Fleas may transfer to humans such illnesses as murine typhus or Dermatitus. The bubonic or “black” plague was also spread to humans by the tiny flea.
Fleas and ticks are brought into your home from the outside lawn and landscape. They come in on your pets or even on humans entering the home. A severe lawn infestation can provide an ongoing fresh supply of the insects to continually re-infest your home even after an interior elimination.
The good news is that the GenEx Flea and Tick Lawn Program is the solution to your flea and tick concerns. We work with the customer to develop a comprehensive plan for flea and tick control.
At GenEx we take flea and tick control very seriously. These pests can affect not only your dog and cat, but your entire family as well. While we are not disease vector alarmists, we also do not ignore the potentially serious threat that these small creatures pose to humans.
