You may ask: How can you offer such tremendous discounts off your single service rate when I sign up for your GenEx 6 Program? Why don't you just charge less for one-time services?
First, we have found that without a regular lawn care program (such as our GenEx 6), a one-time service is often an attempt at a "quick fix" of a more systemic problem and generally will not bring you the result you desire--a beautiful, healthy, weed and pest-free, lawn.
Secondly, recurring services are far less expensive for a company to perform than one-time services and we simply pass those savings on to you.
For example, an "O.T.A." or one time application service technician will spend 50-70% of his time driving, burning $3.20 a gallon fuel, with relatively few services performed. When he arrives at your home, he must measure your lawn, complete the requisite pre-application forms, calculate the appropriate application amount and the perform the service. As you can see, a great deal of an "O.T.A." service technician's time is spent on things other than actually performing the service.
With the recurring services, on the other hand, our office staff is able to consolidate all similar services in a particular neighborhood geographic area. Our global positioning satellite mapping system displays a map of the service area on the computer screen; it identifies each customer location and routes the services in the most time effective manner. The system also provides precise GPS driving directions. This enables a service specialist to work a concentrated area with minimal drivetime and enhanced daily productivity.
Furthermore, because the lawn measurements and service calculations were all performed at the initial service, the service specialits performing recurring services are far more porductive.
In short, the service specialist spends 90% of his time performing services instead of driving, measuring and calculating application rates. That increased daily productivity, decreases costs and the benefit is lowered service charges to you!
