Pest Program
Today's vast array of new and advanced pest products has rendered the former practice of monthly interior baseboard spraying unnecessary and as obsolete as a typewriter.
Recognizing the busy lifestyle of our customer families, we developed the GenEx Family First Program.
As the name indicates, it is built around 4 primary services performed three months apart: The detailed interior/exterior service performed at the beginning of each year, followed by three (3) additional quarterly exterior barrier treatments performed every three months, plus unlimited free reservices for any covered pest at any time.
The First Annual Bait Placement Service
The First Annual Service or "1st AS" is the initial service performed to your home. In the course of this service, we perform 5 lines of pest defense designed to pest-proof your home.
- We remove all of the switchplate covers on the exterior walls, and apply a granular bait product directly inside the walls themselves. This not only eliminates any pests that may be nesting in the walls, but it also prevents them from coming in from the outside.
- We treat the entry points of all water lines, such as the kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer areas, water heater and refrigerator ice maker lines with a gel product. Pests are naturally attracted to the condensation and moisture around water lines, and the water intake and drainage line holes in the walls give them a place to enter the home.
- We inject a granular borate-based product under all of your heavy appliances,
such as the refrigerator,
washer, dryer and stove. You've probably seen the situation where there is a bug on the floor and, of course, the first place it runs is under the refrerator. Pests are naturally attracted to
these enclosed dark
spaces. So we see to it that the products are already there waiting for them, so if you accidentally bring a roach back from the grocery store in a bag, the products will prevent them from being able to breed in your home.
- We apply a gel product in the cracks and crevices
under the sinks and in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets--places where roaches are known to nest. This is a borate product with no volatility and virtually no toxicity. 
- Finally, we apply a weather resistant granular barrier treatment 3-4 feet around the exterior perimeter of the home to create a pest-free zone around hour house. This will protect your home from pests that may attempt to enter the house from the exterior. The procust we use is highly effective against almost all of the exterior dwelling pests, such as palmetto bugs, ants, earwigs, silverfish, millipedes, and many others. It is, however, very safe for children and pets. The produt contains only 5% boric acid and is considered somewhat of a miracle product, being so highly effective against insect pests, while posing virtually no toxicity to your family or pets.
Exterior Barrier Service
- Following the completion of your First Annual Service (1st AS), we return to your home every three months to reinspect and perform an additional exterior barrier service utilizing our broad spectrum, weather resistant professional grade granular product.

While your GenEx 6 service is an annual service program, with regularly scheduled visits every three months, for your convenience, we offer a monthly payment plan (starting at $68 for the initial treatment and $26/month, thereafter) or you may prefer a single annual payment (in which case you receive a $20 discount).
