Noxious Weed Control

Our warm, humid climate is ideal for a beautiful tropical landscape. Unfortunately, the climate is also conducive to noxious weed and pest proliferation.

There are three types of weeds in Florida: grassy, broadleaf and sedge.

Grassy weeds have blades that are longer than they are wide, such as crabgrass and goosegrass.

Broadleaf weeds include chickweed, dollar weed, wood sorrel, henbit, creeping beggar weed, poison ivy and poison oak.

Sedges have stems that are solid and triangular. They include water sedge, nut sedge and globe sedge.
Sedges if not controlled can proliferate through a lawn.
