The GenEx Ryegrass Program
1) If you have an existing summergrass lawn of St. Augustine, Centipede, Zoysia, Bermuda, or Bahia, etc., we first make an application to encourage "hardening" off of you warm season turfgrass, enhancing root development and carbohydrate producction.
2) GenEx performs a soil pH test as your winter lawn will thrive in pH levels above 5.5 and up to 7.
3) GenEx uses only Premium Annual Ryegrasses developed specifically for the coastal plain.
4) Finally, we make application of the nutrients necessary to ensure the most beautiful lush stand of winter lawn possible.
Finally, at the end of the winter season, as your warm weather turf begins its return from dormancy, you merely "short cut" the winter lawn and decrease the water supply thereby allowing the transition back to the summer lawn.
